VINASAT centre, was established in September 2007, is one of the four centers under Vietnam Telecom International (VTI), a subsidiary of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT).

VINASAT centre has mainly responsibility for managing, operating and doing business with the first telecommunication satellite of Vietnam, VINASAT-1.

VINASAT-1 satellite is built upon the latest and most reliable satellite platform, and carry high performance payload to meet market demands, providing high quality transponder services for the broadcasting and telecommunications clients. Otherwise, VINASAT-1 satellite epitomizes the new generation of high-power and high-reliability communication satellites. Given their outstanding performance, they are able to provide excellent quality of service to our broadcasting and telecommunications customers in Vietnam and other countries.

VINASAT center is managed by a team of experts and professionals who have extensive experience in management, operation, telemetry and control of satellites. With their high power transmission and broad footprints, the center proudly extends service to whole Vietnam and other countries in the region.
